ENERGY STORAGE DAY 2026: NEW ARCHITECTURE OF THE UKRAINIAN ENERGY SYSTEM

An industry conference aimed at developing energy storage technologies for the large-scale integration of renewable energy sources and the formation of a decentralized energy system in Ukraine.

Special attention will be given to the advantages of integrating energy storage systems (ESS) into the Ukrainian electricity market in 2026 and the prospects for scaling projects from pilot initiatives to commercial implementation, as well as hybrid project models “ESS + WPP”.

The Conference will become a platform for open dialogue, exchange of experience, and the development of practical solutions that will accelerate the growth of the energy storage sector and contribute to building a resilient, flexible, and modern architecture of Ukrainian power generation.

HOW TO GET TO KYIV

Due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace, the most convenient way to travel is via Poland by car or railway. When crossing the border, do not forget your international passport.

By Train

Poland:
The most convenient options are the “Warsaw – Kyiv” and “Przemyśl – Kyiv” trains. Tickets are available on the official website of Ukrainian Railways: We recommend purchasing tickets at least 20 days before your trip.
To travel to Kyiv from Poland, you can also take a train from Kraków with a transfer in Przemyśl. Tickets can be purchased at polishtrains.eu

By Car

The nearest border crossing points from Poland:

  • Krakovets – Korczowa.
  • Shehyni – Medyka.
  • Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne.

Entry into Ukraine by a foreign car is allowed, including vehicles with foreign license plates. A valid “Green Card” insurance policy is mandatory.

If you have any questions regarding safety or logistics, please contact the organizing committee.
